Rachel has been immersed in the EV industry for over 6 years, beginning her journey with SMS plc before moving on to Transport for Wales. In February 2024, she took on the role of Project Manager at Compleo UK, where she now oversees the installation of Compleo chargers at customer sites. With her deep understanding of the EV sector and exceptional organisational skills, Rachel is the perfect point of contact for clients throughout the installation process.
What Rachel enjoys most about her job is the variety it brings. She works closely with numerous delivery partners, customers, and the internal team, ensuring that no two days are alike. Each successful charger installation gives her a sense of pride, knowing the impact it has on the end users.
A self-professed Tesla fan, Rachel is passionate about EVs and is always eager to encourage others to make the switch. When she’s not driving her Tesla or at work, you’ll likely find her binge-watching every series of Real Housewives of… Yes, every single one!
When Matthew joined Compleo in November 2018, he wasn’t new to the EV industry—he’s been a part of it for over 12 years, practically since its inception! As Compleo UK’s Commercial Director, Matthew is the driving force behind major business deals and is always there to guide customers every step of the way. No EV charging question is too big or small for Matthew; he’s our go-to expert and walking encyclopaedia on all things EV. It’s no surprise that when asked what he enjoys most about his role, his answer is clear: educating others on how easy it is to transition to EV.
Though he’s passionate about the EV world, Matthew is also a true petrol head at heart. He’s built a track car, is currently restoring a classic 1960s beauty, and proudly rides a Ducati motorcycle. It’s safe to say that Matthew’s love for both electric and traditional engines keeps his days exciting and full of energy!
James joined Compleo in January 2022, bringing with him an impressive seven years of experience in the EV industry. When asked about his favourite part of the job, James shared:

When asked to share a little about himself, James kept it light-hearted, saying he didn’t want to give too much away. However, he did reveal that living in the stunning North Yorkshire countryside means he spends a lot of time outdoors, often enjoying his favourite sport—rugby.
With over 3.5 years of experience in the EV industry, Joanne has brought her expertise to Compleo since June 2021. Her journey started as a Sales Executive for the Nissan Leaf at Fish Brothers Swindon. Now, she’s our go-to operations wizard, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
As the first point of contact for any charging issues, Joanne’s organisation skills are second to none. She makes sure the right solutions reach the right people and keeps the office running like clockwork. Her favourite part of the job? The variety of tasks and the chance to connect with new and interesting people every day.
When she’s not keeping things punctual at work, Joanne loves to channel her creativity in the kitchen. Whether it’s cooking up a feast or baking sweet treats.
Luke is a results-driven professional with a diverse background in business development, the automotive industry, commercial real estate, and the EV charging and thermal management sectors. He joined Compleo in July 2024, and while being fairly new to the EV space, he has over three years of experience working within the automotive industry, including EVs. At Compleo, he helps organisations take conscious steps toward sustainability by developing and implementing effective EV charging strategies.
Passionate about sustainability and innovation, he is committed to driving progress in the energy sector and promoting energy-efficient technologies that contribute to a cleaner, more sustainable future. One of the aspects he enjoys most about my job is working with new people and businesses to develop sustainable strategies that incorporate EV charging solutions.
Outside of work, he’s a 3rd-degree black belt in Wado Ryu Karate, with over 15 years of experience in the art. He also have a deep passion for creativity, and often finds himself creating anything from clothing to painting canvases.
Anya is the newest face at Compleo, joining the team in November 2024! While she’s new to the EV industry, she’s no stranger to the automotive world, having worked at a car leasing company before switching to the green side.
As our Sales Administrator, Anya works closely with the sales team to make sure they have everything they need, from sending out quotes to arranging charger deliveries. Her favourite part of the job? The amazing team she gets to work with every day.
When Anya’s not at work, you’ll find her cuddling her adorable dog, Nando.
When Simon joined the Compleo UK team in June 2019, he was new to the EV industry, but in just over 5 years, he’s gained a wealth of industry knowledge. As our Finance Director, Simon is the man behind the numbers – and that’s just how he likes it, as numbers are his favourite part of the job.
Outside of the spreadsheets, you’ll usually hear Simon before you see him – and no, it’s not because he’s loud, it’s because he loves to sing! Whenever there’s an opportunity, Simon’s ready to bring some entertainment to the office with his vocals. Oh, and he’d like everyone to know: he’s Welsh!
Louisa hit the ground running when she joined Compleo in October 2024—her very first week in the EV industry was spent at a trade show! Networking, learning, and getting hands-on with events made it clear: Louisa was ready to dive in.
As our Marketing Assistant, she works alongside Clare to spread the Compleo name far and wide. From managing social media and keeping the website fresh to launching exciting new campaigns, Louisa has a hand in it all. Her favourite part of the job? The learning! There’s never a dull day, especially in the fast-moving world of EVs, and she loves how willing everyone at Compleo is to share their knowledge.
Outside of work, Louisa has a hidden talent: cooking and baking! Her culinary creations have been enjoyed by some very well-known faces.
Since joining Compleo in January 2022, Pete has been the go-to expert for all things technical. He knows our chargers inside and out—literally—and there’s yet to be a problem he can’t solve! With experience in the EV space since 2020, Pete is passionate about the industry and wouldn’t dream of going back.
Pete’s favourite part of the job? The variety! From walking customers step-by-step through solutions over the phone to swapping SIM cards on-site or training new installation teams in the office, no two days are ever the same. Pete is our very own wizard, because honestly, he makes magic happen.
